The Forever Purge

Can you hear the klaxon? It’s another Purge! Pencilled in to be released on the UK big screens on the 16th July, the fifth, and supposed final, instalment of the series is brought to us by director Everardo Gout and is set to follow the events of The Purge: Election Year (2016). Its premise seems to be, ‘what if the Purge didn’t end at sunrise?’.

As two desperate individuals Adela (Ana de la Reguera) and Juan (Tenoch Huerta), who are fleeing from a drug cartel, to boarder-jump, during their first purge run in to trouble when the world has changed the rules of The Purge, and utter madness ensues…

Again, produced by the wonderful Blumhouse Productions, The Forever Purge seems to deliver the same eccentric insanity that we’ve come to know and love. This looks brutal. Enjoy the trailer below and remember... “Blessed be our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn. May God be with you all”.

Here's a list of my of my top Blumhouse Productinos films: Paranormal Activity (2007), Insidious (2010), The Bay (2012) <<< This one is a little close to home at the moment, The Purge (2013), Unfriended (2014), The Visit (2015), Hush (2016), Split (2016), Get Out (2017), The Belko Experiment (2016), Happy Death Day (2017), Unfriended: Dark Web (2018), Ma (2019) and The Hunt (2020).
